the scalp.

When you perm hair today, the hair is first washed and then wound into
the curlers. Then the lotion for perming is applied to the hair with the
curlers in place. The main action of the perm lotion is to break down
the bonds of the hair that gives it its shape. The perm lotions have
different Ph levels and it reacts when it is applied to the hair. The
perm lotion opens the cuticles of the hair. At the cortex, the
disulphide bonds of the chemicals break down the hair and shapes it to
the structure that is desired. When the lotions are applied to the hair
when it is exposed, the hair then takes the shape of itself with the
curlers in place. This is how perming occurs.

After this happens, a neutralizing lotions is applied to make the
cuticles close up and the hair to become soft and original structure
with the curls on it. When you perm your hair, it is a fantastic way to
